2011 Donation Journal Project
Help make this the year for growth ~ you can be a part of the
2011 donation journal project
Journal Junky is so, so very excited to be joining forces with the beautiful and wise Lillian Gaffney of Journal to change your life in service of the 2011 Donation Journal Project.
The project aims to raise 2011 or more donated journals this year to be gifted to people in need in the community. A simple, inspired idea designed to put the healing power of journaling right into the hands of people who can most use the support and healing help at this time.
Through Journal Junky I will be a collection point for donated journals and will be connecting to community groups and individuals that need what journal writing offers. My first goal is to raise 11 journals for our women’s cancer support group here in Gawler SA.
To further support this amazing project that embodies my passion for helping people transform their lives through journal writing. Journal Junky is offering a special rate on our beautiful gift set range for sets purchased for donation to the project.
And for every 3 Journal Junky gift sets donated, journal junky will contribute a fourth. We’re so excited about the power of this project to change lives and to get journals in to the hands of those
who need them most.
Thus far the project has received169 journals, with more on the way. Lillian
has distributed the donated journals to Solictor’s Office, for children who’ve been abused (30), Children’s Advocacy (20),
Salvation Army & Boys & Girls Club (30), Nurture Home(60), Cumbee
Ctr.(20), Cancer Care Institute (15) & Helping Hands(21). All of these organizations are in her local area. Next on her list is a group of low income parents that meet weekly.
I’m so thrilled to be bringing the work of this project to Australia, to South Australia and right into my own home town. If you’d like to donate a journal or journals to the project you can post to Journal Junky P O Box 296 Sandy Creek SA 5350. Or you can contribute online here by donating a Journal Junky gift set.
